Unless I have completely forgotten my Greek, the term ‘graphology’ actually means ‘lore of writing’ or ‘writing-word’, which is why it cannot only be applied to the process of drawing conclusions about character traits from certain features of handwriting but also to the basic principles that authors may dedicate themselves to. 😉
